Oyo State Governor, His Excellency, Engr Seyi Makinde has acknowledged the giant strides being made at LeadCity University.
The governor who was ably represented by the commissioner for Education in Oyo State Prof Salihu Abdulwaheed Adelabu said that indeed the institution has been able to impact knowledge, critical thinking as well as leadership development thus far.
Speaking further, Adelabu said that LeadCity University has shown the state government what it expected from other private universities in terms of accessibility and inclusivity for all youths in the state.
”First of all we are expecting accessibility and inclusivity, we want everybody to have education and when you look at sustainable development goals 4 and 17 worldwide, we want education for all by 2030 and that’s exactly what LeadCity University is doing”.
He also made mention that the institution has successfully helped in the reduction of unemployment rate as well as increasing the gross domestic product[ GDP] .
”LeadCity is helping us to solve the problem of education on one side, unemployment , the unemployment is reducing in Oyo State. The institution is helping to increase the GDP rate of the state”.
The commissioner therefore promised to support and collaborate with the institution in all activities of the school.
